Two baseball rookies had a bet about their
first season: the one with the highest batting average would win. 
They both had the same number of at-bats.
Player A bested player B in the first half of the season (.300 vs .250) and also
in the second half (.400 vs .350).
 
And yet, player B won the bet! How is this
possible!?

9/17/18  check test grade on grade speed and determine if you need to study for retake.

1/31/2019  Chapter 20  Problems 12, 21 Show all four conditions. Show sampling distribution with sigma and Mu. Calculate the z score of the sample proportion. Calculate the p-value which is the percent of sample proportions that would be further away from the mean than the sample proportion of the question. 

2/4/2019   Chapter 21  Quiz on pages 490 - 496  Expect to know the difference between Type II and Type I errors; what the power of the test is; what the effect size is; AND the formula for a confidence interval for small samples.

5/8/19 Actually do one question from each of last 10 chapters that corresponds to type of question in the chapter that has been illustrated with a step by step example.
